Our 85th vehicle donation is a Fiat Ducato van to Midshires Search and Rescue.
Midshires is a Lowland Search & Rescue unit covering Herts, Beds and North Bucks and is a Member of ALSAR (Association of Lowland Search and Rescue). Their members volunteer to be on call 24/7 to assist the police in finding missing people who are deemed to be at high risk.
They don't charge the police for their lifesaving service and don't receive any government funding.
